Arlanxeo has arranged the furniture on its stand at K2019 to highlight the instrumental role of synthetic rubber in new mobility applications.
Maastricht, The Netherlands – Arlanxeo has arranged the furniture on its stand at K2019 to highlight the instrumental role of synthetic rubber in new mobility applications.
At the centre of the company’s booth, is an animated CAD battery electric vehicle (BEV) model employing the company's elastomeric materials is displayed on a video-screen.
Elements spotlighted in the animation include new tire compounds for reduced rolling resistance and improved abrasion properties, light-weight sealing systems, heat-resistant coolant hoses and AVS parts, flame-retardant cables and high-performance wiper blades.
Arlanxeo is “actively engaged in current research to improve the stability, capacity and performance of batteries in cooperation with industry, governmental bodies and universities, and backed by its own battery research centres in Europe and Asia,” stated its press release.
Another feature is stand-up presentations, in which Arlanxeo experts pitch key mobility topics related to rubber in short public presentations, inviting interaction and questions from visitors.
Discussion topics for K2019 include: how to meet current and upcoming requirements for tires; the importance of thermal management; and new technical developments for anti-vibration systems.
