Singapore – Australian tire recycling scheme Tyre Stewardship Australia (TSA) has become an industry member of the International Rubber Study Group (IRSG), it was announced 10 Oct.
Funded by eight leading tire importers, including Bridgestone, Continental, Goodyear, Kumho, Michelin, Pirelli, Toyo and Yokohama, the scheme has 1700 participants across Australia and aims to take responsible steps towards the management of waste tires.
TSA is focused on the environmentally sound management of end-of-life tires and developing new markets from tire derived products, IRSG said in a statement.
