Paris – Michelin and French bicycle road racing team Cofidis Solutions Crédits have extended their technical partnership for another more years, the tire maker announced 3 Oct.
The move comes as Michelin is launching the new Michelin Power road bicycle tire range, which was developed in association with Cofidis Solutions Crédits.
Micheiln and the racing team originally announced their partnership in 2018 and the new two-year agreement will come into force in 2020.
The collaboration will enable Michelin to use the team – during both testing and races – to advance its bicycle tire range.
Concurrent with the extension of the partnership, the French tire maker is unveiling its “almost entirely-renewed” Michelin Power Range in 2020.
The tires, according to Michelin, have been redeveloped in response to the needs of road cyclists, and offer a “streamlined, comprehensive and affordable” solution.
The range features five distinct tire lines and eight different products, which designed to address the different ways of cycling, from recreational purposes to competitions.
