Tire Cologne on track for 2020
Almost all “well-known key accounts from the focus segments” have signed up for the second staging of the expo launched in 2018, the organiser stated.
Signed-up companies include the top five players in the international tire industry, according to KoelnMesse's 17 Sept press statement
"Besides intensive discussions with exhibitors, we are primarily involved in the planning of the congress and event programme,” added Ingo Riedeberger, director of The Tire Cologne.
Backed by the German tire retailers and vulcanisation trade association (BRV), Tire Cologne will showcase new developments at tire makers, tire retailers, car service providers, workshop outfitters, recyclers and retreaders.
Another highlight will be a ‘Future Mobility’ special event, which will be integrated with best-practice examples and a driving-course to offer additional experiences to show visitors.
Tire Cologne will “point to questions that affect the industry," said the KoelnMesse statement. “How will mobility change in the future? What impact will changes have on people and society?
“What does changed mobility mean for the product tires? And what effect will this have on the tire industry?
