Akron, Ohio – Testing, consulting and compliance service provider Smithers is consolidating its various operations under a single brand identity, a refreshed logo and new tagline, the company announced 12 Sept.
The move, said Smithers, will make it easier for clients in any industry to "discover the full breadth of services” the company has to offer.
“By uniting all our member companies under a single brand, we are working together to connect our clients with Smithers experts,” said Michael Hochschwender, CEO and president, Smithers.
The “connected enterprise”, he went on to say, will support clients throughout their product development process.
Commemorating nearly 100 years of presence in the industry, Smithers will also bring products to market with a new tagline: “innovate with confidence”.
Smithers has recently grown by investing in new technology in response to customer needs and has laboratories and operations in North America, Europe, and Asia.
The company, said Glenn Goldney, vice president of sales and marketing, is 'fortifying its footprint as a global brand, to deliver accurate data, on time, with high touch.'
