Energy Award Abdrabou, Goodyear

The US-based Association of Energy Engineers (AEE) has selected Aiman Abdrabou, global manager, energy & greenhouse gas at Goodyear as the 2014 International Energy Manager of the Year.

Abdrabou leads a team of regional energy and GHG managers who have helped Goodyear’s efforts to reduce energy usage and emissions.

In recent years, the team developed a new company standard for energy conservation, founded a global energy system based on the elements of continuous improvement.

The team has also encouraged the continuing education of regional and plant energy leaders and helped link energy meters from all Goodyear plants around the world to one central system to allow for global monitoring.
