London – Natural rubber prices witnessed a decline in the Far East markets over the three weeks to 3 July, according to ERJ’s latest snapshot of the markets.
The decline in prices has coincided with reports of an outbreak of pestalotiopsis disease across plantations in Indonesia and Malaysia.
SHFE Ru1909: Ru1909 Yuan11,310/t (3 July) compared to Yuan 11,970/t (14 June)
Tocom RSS3 back month Yen184.6/kg compared to Yen202/kg
Tocom TSR20 back month Yen153.6/kg compared to Yen162.7/kg
SGX TSR20: TSR20 $1.481/kg compared to $1.51/kg
Kuala Lumpur SMR20: $145.20 compared to $155.66/100kg
Kuala Lumpur Latex: $120.55/100kg compared to $122.32/100kg
