GRI appoints Lugioyo head of global sales

An established supplier of industrial tires for materials handling applications, GRI expanded into agriculture and construction tires in 2018.

Based in the US, Lugioyo will lead the Sri Lankan company’s efforts to expand its sales, distribution and dealer network in the segment.

Lugioyo was formerly managing director (MD) of American Tire Distributors (ATD) of North Carolina.

Prior to that, he was MD/equity partner of Hercules Tire and Rubber Co. in Ohio and VP/founding partner of Tire Distributor Inc in Florida.

Lugioyo has been the co-founder and managing partner of four startup companies, GRI further pointed out in its statement.
