Hutchinson and Hiroshima Kasei launch JV in Japan

Called Hiroshima Kasei Hutchinson Sealing Japan (HHSJ), the JV will reinforce Hutchinson’s presence in Japan, said the rubber, plastics and composites parts maker.

HHSJ will focus on sales, development and production management for body sealing products developed for the Japanese vehicle manufacturers, explained Hutchinson.

The venture, it added, will support ongoing projects “by combining both companies’ technology, experience in material, product design and production know how.

“This joint venture will allow both companies to enlarge their activities in Japan.”
