Greenville, South Carolina – Michelin North America Inc. plans to increase prices 1 July in the US and Canada by up to 6% on its Uniroyal-brand commercial tires and "select" Michelin-brand off-highway products.
Michelin said the increases are "in response to market conditions."
The increases affect select Michelin-brand loader, grader, articulated dump truck and crane tires in certain fitments.
The increases are Michelin's first since January when it increased prices up to 5% on Michelin-, BFGoodrich- and Uniroyal-brand passenger and light-truck tires in the US and Canada.
It last raised prices on commercial market products in December, increasing them up to 8% on national accounts in the US.
