Safic-Alcan opens Greek subsidiary

Paris-La-Defence – French chemicals distributor Safic-Alcan has formed a new subsidiary called Safic-Alcan Hellas to support the Greek market.

Based in Athens, the unit will manage warehousing locally and will be headed by Yannis Antonopoulos, said Safic-Alcan 20 May.

As the office’s first employee, Antonopoulos is responsible for sales and development.

He will initially be in charge of the performance products market in Greece, including coatings, adhesives, sealants, and elastomers (CASE); PU; rubber and plastic materials.

Prior to his current position, Antonopoulos worked in sales and business development for local Greek distributors.
