Paris – Japan’s largest airline All Nippon Airways (ANA) will fit Michelin aircraft tires on all Airbus A380 planes used on a new Hawaii route.
The Michelin Air X radial tire was chosen “following a rigorous selection process,” Michelin announced 17 April.
The selected tire features Michelin’s patented near zero growth (NZG) technology.
The NZG technology is claimed to extend the tire’s service life through the use of a composite made of linear polyamide and aramid fibres.
