Freudenberg, Germany – Today’s tire market requires entire system-solutions integrating machines, modules, automation and auxiliary products, according to HF Mixing Group.
HF's strategy is, therefore, to provide complete and sustainable mixing solutions, rather than just individual machinery for mixing applications,
This concept is reflected in HF’s new Advise 4.0, a modular, scalable system for automating mixing rooms and intelligent process technology.
All areas of the mixing room are included, and individual applications can be selected and combined to create a "comprehensive automation solution," claims HF.
Mixing rooms, it notes, now generate multiple layers of data on raw materials, machines, industrial IoT, processes, production and logistics.
Collected in a structured and intelligent manner, this data can help track OEE and material processes towards improving quality and throughput.
Intelligent inventory management, flexible mixing process automation and intralogistics tools support demand-driven production, HF further stated.
This, it said, can “help reduce warehouse costs and make sure the tire factory always has the final compounds it needs, when it needs them.”
Advise 4.0 can cover multiple production facilities from central locations, communicating over encrypted channels that are accessible only to the appropriate people, added HF.
