Michelin supplier award for machinery maker VMI

Epe, The Netherlands – Groupe Michelin has recognised the contribution of Dutch tire & rubber machinery supplier VMI to its activities over many years, VMI has announced.

CEO Harm Voortman received an award from Michelin Group chief executive Jean-Dominique Senard, at a ceremony held 25 Oct in Clermont-Ferrand, France.

The award, said VMI, specifically recognised its future-oriented partnership-work with Michelin and “performance over the past several years in meeting its challenging high standards”.

“We highly appreciate the rewarding cooperation,” Voortman said in an acceptance speech. “This award is a recognition of our efforts to assure the success of our customers by supplying advanced technology and services.”
