Paris – Vibracoustic GmbH and Hyundai Motor Co have signed a technical partnership agreement to carry out joint research in automotive noise, vibration and harshness (NVH) systems.
The five-year technical collaboration deal will see the two companies expand their knowledge exchange for the development of new NVH solutions for Hyundai’s current and future mobility concepts, Vibracoustic said 4 Oct.
The collaboration will especially include Hyundai’s electric vehicles range that will hit the market after 2020.
“This new level of personnel and engineering collaboration will result in excellent, innovative NVH solutions increasing the driving comfort and the vehicle performance for all models and especially for future mobility platforms from Hyundai,” said Jörg Böcking, chief technology officer of Vibracoustic GmbH.
The partnership agreement was signed by Taesoo Chi, senior vice president chassis technology centre of Hyundai Motor Co., and Jörg Böcking, chief technology officer of Vibracoustic, in Paris.
