Arlanxeo to expand Safic-Alcan agreement

Paris – Arlanxeo will extend an exclusive agreement with Safic-Alcan for distribution of Arlanxeo's Keltan brand in France.

Details of the agreement, which is effective 1 Jan 2019, were undisclosed, according to a Safic Alcan news release.

Arlanxeo is building on its current partnership with Safic-Alcan in Italy, Benelux, Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Czech Republic. Keltan, a supplier and partner in EPDM, contains a wide range of grades, which are used in products such as wire and cable, household appliances, automotive and roofing.

France has an important demand for high quality EPDM, Safic-Alcan CEO Philippe Combette said in a statement.

Safic-Alcan is an international specialty chemicals distributor group that develops and provides polymers, materials and additives for the rubber, coatings, pharmaceuticals and cosmetics industries.
