Marangoni expands footprint in Nordic countries

Rovereto, Italy – Marangoni Retreading Systems is expanding its presence in Nordic countries with two recent distribution agreements for its specialised products in the region.

The Italian company said 19 Sept that Finland-based Lujakumi Oy and Norway-headquartered Gummiservice Rade AS had signed a distribution agreement to market and sell earthmoving and industrial handling retreads manufactured at Marangoni’s site in Rovereto Italy.

The two retreaders, said Marangoni, had already invested in Marangoni’s Ringtread system in recent years.

Marangoni went on to say that its range of earthmoving retreaded tires included the use of four types of tread compounds, catering for differing environments and workloads.

Based in Pori, west of Finland, Lujakumi Oy is a growing tire retreader with three tire shops in the region. The company invested in a Marangoni Ringtread system in 2017.

Gummiservice, said Marangoni, is a “major” player in TBR tires’ retreading with four outlets across Norway and has been recently acquired by Marangoni Retreading Systems Deutschland.
