Paris La Défense – French chemicals distributor Safic-Alcan has extended its distribution agreement with PMC Organometallix Inc. to market its Fascat catalysts in the UK and Ireland, effective 27 Sep.
The Fascat series are highly selective catalysts for esters, urethanes, and siloxanes.
Safic-Alcan already distributes the product in continental Europe and its Warrington, UK-based office will market the catalysts in the UK.
According to Organometallix, Fascat catalysts offer "optimal conversion and curing characteristics", and are used for synthesis of monomeric and polymeric esters, for crosslinking of siloxanes and urethanes, and as chemical intermediates.
“This agreement will further strengthen our existing partnership with PMC Organometallix,” said Philippe Combette, CEO of Safic-Alcan.
