JSR starts operation in Vietnam to address automotive demand

Hanoi – Japanese materials supplier JSR Corp. has established and started trading operations in Vietnam, the company announced 12 Sept.
Based in Hanoi, JSR Trading Vietnam Co. Ltd, will export, import and sell synthetic rubber, steel box and materials in the country.
“In Vietnam, where economic growth is remarkable, petrochemical-related industry is also expected to develop in the near future according to the business expansion of automobile-related companies,” JSR noted.
JSR Trading went on to say that it has been focusing on building up a metal container business in Vietnam, both in sales and procurement activities.
The operation, which aims to serve the automotive industry, started work 25 July with a capital investment of VND 20 trillion (€766,000).
