Eschborn, Germany - Nexen Tire Europe has relocated its head office in Germany and its European technical centre to a new building in Kelkheim, near Frankfurt.
The new HQ spans 11.000 square metres and has been built in 13 months, the Korean tire maker announced 5 Sept.
The office will house more than 80 Nexen employees in an open design space, where management, sales, marketing and R&D functions work together.
Nexen is expected to start up its €830-million European production plant in Zatec, Czech Republic by early 2019.
With the new HQ and production facility, Nexen said expects to increase its market share in Europe in the near future.
