Pirelli insists tire markets are stable

Milan, Italy – Italian tire maker Pirelli & C. SpA has issued a statement saying it does not foresee a significant change in the market it operates in for the current year.

The statement was issued 22 Aug in response to what Pirelli described as an “idea” picked up by the press of a possible deterioration of the tire market.

Pirelli insisted that it could see no significant change in its markets, adding that its forecasts for the current year would remain unchanged.
