Vibracoustic expanding vehicle components facility

Darmstadt, Germany – Automotive vibration-control company Vibracoustic is investing around €4 million to expand its Sroda Slaska I plant in Poland, the company announced 8 Aug.

The expansion will create 50 new jobs – mainly in production, maintenance and engineering at the facility which produces conventional and hydraulic chassis mounts for the automotive industry.

As part of the expansion, which is expected on-stream by the yearend, new capacities will be created for microcellular polyurethane components.

The project will also establish a local prototyping facility, including testing, to speed up the development and industrialisation process for customer orders.

The investment is “a logical step for Vibracoustic that will enable it to achieve further growth and expand the company’s market position,” said the company.

Vibracoustic has been producing chassis mounts for vehicles of leading car manufacturers at the Sroda Slaska I plant for 19 years and currently employs more than 360 people there.

In total, Vibracoustic employs more than 750 people in the two Polish plants Sroda Slaska I and II, added its statement.
