Event: Teijin set for materials handling conference

Arnhem, The Netherlands – Teijin Aramid will be present at the International Conference on Conveying and Handling of Particulate Solids (CHoPS), the company said 1 Aug.
Focused on the emerging opportunities and challenges in solids handling technology, CHoPS will take place in London at the Greenwich Maritime Campus from 10-14 Sept.
During the conference, two papers will be presented on the topic of aramid conveyor belts:
“Aramid Conveyor Belts: From Theory To Operations” by Gabriel Lodewijks, University of New South Wales and co-author Enrique Mendez, Teijin Aramid.
“Model To Calculate Financial And Environmental Performance For Aramid Reinforced Conveyor Belts” by Theodoros Spathas, Eco-Economics Specialist at Teijin Aramid and co-authors: Marjan Kamer – van Essen (Teijin Aramid), Gabriel Lodewijks (University of New South Wales) and Enrique Mendez (Teijin Aramid).
