Boston, Massachusetts – Cabot Corp. is increasing prices by up to 10% globally for speciality carbon products from 1 Sept or as contracts allow.
The hike is required due to escalating costs associated with logistics, raw materials, environmental compliance and capital improvements, said a 1 Aug announcement.
It will also enable continued investment in the development of new products and applications to support customers, added Cabot.
