Rovereto, Italy – Dino Maggioni has “chosen to leave his position” as CEO of Marangoni SpA. as well as all other positions within the group, the Italian company announced 8 Aug.
The departure, it said, followed a review by the group’s board of directors of the “strategical directions“ assigned to Maggioni in autumn 2016.
The company thanked the former CEO for his work “in the past two years of collaboration dedicated to the group’s turnaround.”
The CEO roles have been taken on, on an interim basis, by the group’s chairman Vittorio Marangoni and vice-president Giuseppe Marangoni.
Maggioni took over at Marangoni in October 2016, having previously held CEO roles at Pirelli Industrial North and South America and at Magneti Marelli aftermarket parts & service.
“With the arrival of Dino Maggioni our group will take advantage of his experienced leadership in the automotive sector and proved managing capabilities,” said chairman Vittorio Marangoni said at the time of his appointment.
