Chandler, Arizona – Rogers Corp. has recently acquired Griswold, a US manufacturer of custom-engineered cellular elastomer and high-performance polyurethane products.
Based in Moosup, Connecticut, the acquired company's products have applications in electronics, automotive, consumer and general industrial markets.
‘Griswold is an outstanding strategic fit with Rogers’ elastomeric material solutions business,’ said Bruce Hoechner, president and CEO at Rogers. ‘It adds new products and capabilities to our EMS portfolio.’
The transaction closed on 6 July, and terms were not disclosed. Rogers expects the transaction to be accretive to 2019 earnings per share.
