Durex recalls condoms over quality issue
London – Durex, part of the RB group, has issued a recall due to quality issues with some of its condom products, the company has announced.
Certain non-latex condoms made earlier this year were found to be failing shelf-life durability tests, said a 31 July press statement.
The expiry date of the recalled batches is between Dec. 2020 and Feb. 2021.
Durex went on to say that there was no immediate safety concern for consumers and only a limited number of batches were affected.
“Working closely with the relevant regulatory authorities, we have decided to recall these specific batches,” said the statement.
