Orion to raise carbon black prices

Luxembourg – Orion Engineered Carbons has announced price increases on all speciality carbon black products with effect from 1 Sept.

The level of price increase will depend on product grade, sales region and end market, according to an Orion release issued 13 July.

The company linked to increases to rising raw-materials and freight costs, and its need to maintain service levels and technical support.

Orion is a global supplier of carbon black, including speciality gas blacks, furnace blacks, lamp blacks, thermal blacks and others that tint, colorize and enhance performance.
