Ulvila, Finland – Finnish automation and robotic-tire handling specialist Cimcorp Oy will be working with China’s Linglong Tire to automate two of the company’s sites.
In a 10 July statement, Cimcorp said its first project will involve the automation of Linglong’s plant in Zhaoyuan, China, which produces truck & bus radial tires.
The Finnish company will employ its modular design, Dream Factory system at the plant.
The turnkey material handling solution will be installed in stages to ensure minimum disruption to production.
Cimcorp has also reached an agreement with Linglong to automate the high-bay warehouse, palletising and shipping areas at its radial passenger car tire plant in Chonburi, Thailand, which was opened in 2014.
