Hannover, Germany – Birla Carbon is increasing prices for rubber grade carbon black materials due to increasing costs.
In a 26 June announcement, the carbon black supplier said the €94/tonne price hike applies to all non-contract customers in Europe and Africa and takes effect 1 August.
Other leading carbon suppliers, including Cabot and Orion, have also announced price rises in the EMEA and North America regions in the past few months.
