Marietta, Georgia – Leading carbon black supplier Birla Carbon, part of Aditya Birla Group, has renamed all of its entities worldwide to “Birla Carbon” effective 1 July.
“As a single global brand Birla Carbon will be even better recognised for its value offering around sustainability, innovation and global supply security,” said CEO Santrupt Misra, in a 2 July statement.
The move is part of the company’s strategy “One Birla Carbon”, which brings together all Birla operations as a unified global brand in carbon black industry.
“This is an exciting change to build on this brand value to ensure all constituents see the strength of One Birla Carbon no matter where we do business,” noted John Loudermilk, chief operating officer, Birla Carbon,
Birla Carbon is one of the world’s largest manufacturers and suppliers of carbon black and a flagship business of the Aditya Birla Group. The company has 16 manufacturing facilities in 12 countries, supplying carbon black to a number of industries, including tire and rubber sectors.
