Sochi, Russia – Russian industrial conglomerate and producer of military equipment Rostec is working on a pilot project towards procuring a “large amount” of natural rubber from Thailand, according to the news agency Tass.
The state-owned corporation is also studying the supply of its products to Thailand.
"Rostec is ready to offer a broad range of high technology products - from helicopters to modern medical units, city and air traffic control systems,” said Russian president’s aide Yuri Ushakov prior to a 19-May meeting between the prime ministers of the two countries on 19 May.
In return, said Ushakov, Rostec was interested in buying Thai natural rubber.
