Antonie Schmeitz, group leader vehicle dynamics, TNO (Netherlands Organisation for Applied Scientific Research) will discuss the latest advances in TPMS and smart tire technology at the Future Tire Conference 2016,24-25 May, in Essen, Germany.
The discussion will be part of a Day 2 afternoon session where industry experts from Schrader and Continetnal will discuss latest technologies.
Dr. Antoine Schmeitzwas born in Sittard, The Netherlands. He received his MSc degree in mechanical engineering from Eindhoven University of Technology, in 1999, and his PhD degree in mechanical engineering from Delft University of Technology, in 2004
After doing a post-doctoral fellow at Eindhoven University of Technology, he joined TNO in 2006 where he is currently a senior research scientist and group leader for vehicle dynamics, estimation and control. His research interests cover tire and vehicle modelling, vehicle dynamics, intelligent tires, vehicle state estimation, vehicle control and automated driving, with over 30 technical publications.
