DRAFT FTC 2016: Klaus Hrazdira, COO, Quehenberger Logistics
Klaus Hrazdira, COO, Quehenberger Logistics, will discuss automation and lean production in tire manufacturing plants at the Future Tire Conference 2016, 24-25 May, in Essen, Germany.
Hrazdira will be part of a panel discussion on the subject on Day 2 of the conference.
After finishing his studies in 1986 he started his professional carrier in Vienna with Cargoplan/AEI.
He has held there various management positions until he became managing director of Expeditors International in Austria in 1995.
In 1997 he started with R. Quehenberger GmbH, where he has held different positions at director-levels, also in the affiliated companies Quehenberger-Hellmann Worldwide Logistics GmbH and Welz Internationale Spedition AG (being in charge as managing director for the organisation in Austria, Belarus, Hungary, Moldova, Romania, Ukraine, Bulgaria, Romania, Serbia, Croatia, Slovenia, Czech Republic, Poland and Russia.)
In 2003 he became CEO of Quehenberger Logistik AG, Bergheim and in 2005 member of the executive committee and the board of directors of Thiel Logistik AG, Grevenmacher/Luxembourg.
He held this position in the Executive Committee at Thiel Logistik AG/Logwin until December 2008 when he became global managing director and CEO of HPL Hellmann Perishable Logistics, a division of Hellmann Worldwide Logistics in Osnabrueck/Hamburg, Germany.
This position was held until end of 2012 when he started his function as chief operating officer at the Augustin-Quehenberger-Group GmbH, in charge of the regional organisation in Germany, Netherlands and all CEE-countries as well as for the products contract logistics, warehousing and air & ocean for the whole group.
