DRAFT FTC 2016: Marc Flederus, director, Ferm RFID Solutions
Marc Flederus, director, Ferm RFID Solutions will discuss RFID labelling for tires during his speech at the Future Tire Conference 2016, 24-25 May in Essen, Germany.
Flederus’ presentation “enhancing regulations and standards for future tire quality” will be part of the morning session of FT Future Factories & Supply Chain Forum on Day 2 of the conference.
Marc Flederus is founder and owner of Ferm RFID Solutions, a RFID Tag manufacturer and RFID consulting company which has a 100 percent focus on RFID and the tire industry.
Since 2001 he is responsible for developing innovative and successful RFID applications.
Since 2006 he also defined and realised different GS1 standards as an active GS1 member and is currently involved in several GS1 Working Groups which have a focus on asset management and goods management in the tire industry and train infrastructure industry.
He has a unique business approach and deep understanding of the several GS1 EPC standards, based on 14 years of pragmatic RFID experience with big international, innovative clients which operate in worldwide and complex supply chains in several industries like: tire manufacturing, rail infrastructure, food retail, fashion retail, book retail, shipbuilding, healthcare, energy and utilities.
Apart from that he has a worldwide ecosystem of international hard- and software partners in order to realise these successful RFID applications which all comply to the several GS1 EPC standards.
