Altdorf, Switzerland – The Datwyler Group has appointed Dirk Lambrecht to be its chief executive officer as of January 2017, the Swiss rubber goods manufacturer announced 4 March.
Long-standing head of the group’s sealing solutions division, Lambrecht will replace incumbent CEO Paul Hälg who will be recommended for election to the post of chairman at the annual general meeting in March 2017.
Current chairman Ulrich Graf will be stepping down from his post after 12 years in 2017.
Also, Zhiqiang Zhang will be recommended for election as a new additional member of the board of directors at this year’s AGM on 5 April.
The Chinese national has been a member of the wider management team at the Swedish firm Sandvik since 2012 in his capacity as chairman for the greater China region and head of emerging markets.
