Nokia, Finland – Nokian’s Weatherproof all-weather tire has recently won an all-season tire test by the French magazine “L’argus”, the tire-maker has announced.
According to Nokian, the tire offers “good performance” during braking in dry conditions and its braking distance is more than one metre shorter compared to other premium tires.
Also, the tire offers “balanced handling characteristics” in the wet test results.
On snow, the tire had the “shortest braking distance” and “fastest handling time” while having other features of predictability, easy control and shortest time in the acceleration test.
The tire, according to Nokian, is among the top 5 European 205/55 R16 sized all-season tires.
The tires were tested on a VW Golf by "L‘argus" in 2015. The Nokian tire shared the test win with another premium competitor which was not mentioned.
