India slaps duties on carbon black from China, Russia

New Delhi – India has imposed definitive anti-dumping duty on imports of carbon black for rubber applications from China and Russia, The Hindu BusinessLine has reported
The measures, which are to run for five years, follow complaints by Philips Carbon Black Ltd and SKI Carbon Black (India) Pvt Ltd.
Duties on Chinese carbon black are in a range of around $400-500/tonne (€375-€470), while products from Russia will face tariffs of around $36 per tonne, the report added.
