TRP Sealing Systems starts up plant in China 

Hereford , UK – TRP Sealing Systems Ltd has opened a new manufacturing facility in China, the Hereford-based company has announced.

TRP China is located in Guangde, Anhui province to the west of Shanghai and will serve both domestic market and export markets, said TRP, which also has plants in the UK and India.

The investment is part of its plans to become a preferred supplier of technical rubber mouldings worldwide, the UK company’s statement added.

Designing and building the facility to specification has been a challenge, as has sourcing and installing equipment and recruiting a workforce, said Ian Bell, project manager for the operation.

However, he added, “we are delighted with the management and operational team we have recruited and we have met our vision; commissioning  a facility built and run to world-class manufacturing standards.

“There is still many things we need to work on, but we have made a great start, and the motivation and efforts of all the team in Guangde have been fantastic.”
