Weinheim, Germany - Freudenberg Oil and Gas Technologies, part of Freudenberg Group, has acquired BlueSky Process Solutions Ltd, the company reported on 1 July.
Stoney Creek, Ontario, Canada-based BlueSky is a designer of seal products, specifically for the upstream oil and gas segment.
"As a long-term oriented technology group, we are continuing to enhance our oil and gas business," said Mohsen Sohi, Freudenberg Group CEO, adding that the company continued to have confidence in the oil and gas market despite current challenging times.
BlueSky develops high integrity connectors that are complementary to the Freudenberg Oil & Gas Technologies' Vector product line in this segment, according to Freudenberg.
