Goodyear Dunlop to 'relocate' EMEA mixing operations

Goodyear Dunlop is  planning to relocate mixing operations at its tire production plants across the EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) region, the company has announced.

The company signalled measure, alongside an announcement of the closure of its tire retread operation in Wolverhampon, UK with the loss of 330 jobs. Both actions, it said, are intended to improve production efficiency of its EMEA operations,

Towards this goal, Goodyear Dunlop said it is seeking to better align production capacity with market demand, decrease complexity and reduce structural costs in its manufacturing operations.
