Pirelli F1 simulator brings racing feel to audience

Pirelli has launched a new Formula 1 simulator that will beused to support its marketing and promotional efforts at various events in the UK.
The new simulator, based on the official Codemasters F1 game, is a life-size replica of a F1 racing car, said Pirelli in a statement on 24 June.
According to Pirelli the simulator allows guests to experience the sights, sounds and motion of being an F1 driver with full peripheral monitor, built-in speakers and force feedback steering.
The programme features iconic F1 tracks.
The simulator also includes a pit-stop challenge, where participants have the opportunity to try and change the wheel of an F1 car as quickly as possible.
Pirelli has a selection of simulators and games that are regularly transported to various events. These include F1 and Subaru Impreza simulators, as well as the Batak reaction game and an inflatable shelter known as the Spider.
