Guilin, China - Guilin Rubber Machinery (GRM) has recently developed a 45.5’’ steel-tire curing press, according to a press release by ChemChina.
With the new machine, said the release, the stability and precision of the mechanical arm are improved greatly, and vulcanisation time is reduced by 20 seconds, leading to enhanced productivity.
According to the report, permanent insulation is added to the vulcanising chamber plates, which reduces heat loss by 50 percent, hence improving energy efficiency.
GRM is affiliated to the China National Chemical Equipment Corp and is one of China's main rubber equipment R&D, production and export operations.
GRM's main products include tire building machines, double-plex extruding lines, tilt-back presses, vertical and slide-back motion presses, and hydraulic presses.
The company covers a wide range of tire production and can produce over 500 tire vulcanisers and 32,000 tonnes of rubber equipment annually.
