The article discusses the advantages of a "buy more rubber goods campaign" launched by the industry, encouraging consumers and producers to replace "foreign" rubber goods with their British counterparts.
"It is most gratifying to find really serious attempts being made by British manufacturers to produce goods formerly procurable only from abroad," said the article.
