Rayong, Thailand - Chinese tire maker Linglong's factory in Rayong, Thailand has started full operation with its first TBR tire produced on 28 May. Construction of the TBR project began in June 2014.
The factory is Linglong's first overseas manufacturing site with 12 million unit/year PCR tire capacity and 1.2 million unit/year TBR tire capacity. Its first PCR tire was produced in January 2014.
According to Linglong's website, the company is planning to make full use of Thailand's advantages in rubber resources, foreign trade and regional logistics, and build the site into an important base camp for tire export.
