Zeon develops “next-generation” latex for disposable gloves
Tokyo, Japan – Zeon Corp. has started sales of Nipol LX561, a “next-generation” grade of NBR latex, according to a company announcement.
The latex, said Zeon, is suitable for the production of thin-film disposable gloves and at thickness levels of 0.050mm.
The product is said to offer performance improvements in regards to tensile elongation during film processing and limits declines in the yield ratio due to pinholes and other defects.
According to Zeon, gloves made of Nipol LX561 meet the European standards (EN455) for force at break (6N and above) at the reduced film thickness levels.
