Mitsubishi elastomers unit for Turkey
Tokyo – Mitsubishi Chemical Corp. (MCC) has established a new performance polymer business network in Istanbul in response to “accelerating sales” in Turkey and surrounding countries.
The unit, said Mitsubishi, will handle marketing and sales of thermoplastics elastomers (TPEs) and PVC compounds for the automotive and other industries. It’s business remit also includes major markets of Europe and the Middle East.
The business, called MCPP Turkey Liaison Office, was formally opened on 1 April by MCC subsidiary MCPP Germany GmbH.
The office will also handle marketing activities in West Asia and other neighbouring areas and service the existing customer base in Turkey.
With the establishment of MCPP's Turkey Liaison Office, MCC has 23 performance polymer business bases in 14 countries.
Mitsubishi’s TPEs portfolio includes styrene-based Rabalon, olefin-based Thermorun and Zelas, polyester-based Primalloy and PVC-based Sunprene and Sunfrost materials.
