Burton upon Trent, UK– Pirelli’s P Zero has won Sweden’s Auto, Motor & Sport magazine summer tire test, according to the Italian tire-maker.
Pirelli participated with the 235/35R19 Y XL P Zero, which was compared to six other tires and subjected to a series of challenges including grip, handling, steering response, rolling resistance and braking. The Pirelli P Zero tire was declared overall test winner.
“Auto, Motor & Sport commended the P Zero on its high grip levels, short braking distances and good primary comfort, declaring it to be the best tire in both wet and dry braking,” said Pirelli in an announcement on 18 May.
Pirelli did not name the tires against which it was compared.
