Hamburg, Germany – Lehmann & Voss & Co. has established its own representative office in South Korea under the name of LEHVOSS Korea, the Hamburg-based compounds company announced 12 May.
The new office is intended to enable the company to provide a better service for customers in the electronics and automotive sectors in South Korea.
Lehmann & Voss has identified South Korea as a core market, alongside China, Japan and Taiwan for these applications. It has been supporting its polymers business in Asia since the beginning of 2014 from a base in Shanghai.
The Korean move, said the company, is part of an “internationalisation strategy” which has also included the recent acquisition of a majority stake in Performance Compounding in the US.
