Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania – Lanxess is expanding its distribution network with the addition of Harwick Standard Distribution Corporation for its high performance elastomers (HPE) products in its eastern US region, effective 1 May 2015.
The agreement includes the company’s Baymod NBR, Baypren CR, Keltan EPDM, Krynac NBR, Levamelt EVM, LevaprenEVM, Perbunan NBR and Therban HNBR materials.
Harwick serves “polymer-related industries, particularly in the sectors most relevant to our high performance elastomers," said Michael Assaf, Lanxess regional business head, NAFTA for high performance elastomers.
Headquartered in Akron, Ohio, Harwick Standard has been present in the rubber, plastics, adhesives and coatings markets since 1932.
